Datsun

Datsun is a former Japanese car manufacturer that was founded in 1913 by Masujiro Hashimoto. The manufacturer was bought by Nissan in 1933 and the brand was discontinued in 1983 due to business strategy.

Datsun was known for its mid-range models as well as for its sports cars such as the 240Z, 260Z and 280Z which could compete with Porsche and MG Motor at a lower cost.

The Datsun Cherry, also known as the Nissan Cherry, was the name of 4 generations of compact cars made by the Japanese manufacturer. This model was their entry-level model until the arrival of the Micra.
