This pair of 8 mm thick thermal spacers made of woven Bakelite (phenolic laminate) is perfectly flat. It comes with two 0.5 mm thick paper gaskets. (Thicker gaskets available upon request.)

The WEBER 40 DCOE carburetor is a legend. It was originally fitted to a large number of sports models from the 1960s to the 1980s and continues its tradition today in preparation for many 4-cylinder models.

These spacers (two per carburetor) thermally insulate the carburetor bodies from the heat of the manifold, preventing the vaporlock effect during hot starts caused by fuel boiling in the carburetor bowl.
