WEBER 32/34 DMTL - Carburetor Heat Shim Kit

This 8 mm thick thermal spacer made of woven Bakelite (phenolic laminate) is perfectly flat and comes with two 0.5 mm thick paper gaskets. (Thicker gaskets available upon request.)

It has been fitted to many Ford engines, as well as Fiat engines with WEBER 32/34 DMTL carburetors.

This carburetor was also installed as a replacement for the Pierburg carburetors fitted to a large number of Volkswagen Group models from the late 20th century.

This spacer thermally insulates the carburetor body from the heat of the manifold, preventing the vaporlock effect during hot starts due to fuel boiling in the carburetor bowl.
