WEBER 32/36 DGV - Carburetor thermal shim kit

This 5 mm thick thermal spacer made of woven Bakelite (phenolic laminate) is perfectly flat and comes with two 0.5 mm thick paper gaskets. (Thicker gaskets available upon request.)

It has been fitted to many Ford Kent and Pinto engines, as well as Fiat and Lancia 1600 and 1800 models with WEBER 32/36 DGV carburetors. It thermally insulates the carburetor body from the heat of the manifold, preventing vaporlock during hot starts due to fuel boiling in the carburetor bowl.

This excellent twin-barrel carburetor has also been used as a replacement or pre-engineering tool for a large number of popular, sometimes exotic, models.
