This pair of 8 mm thick thermal spacers made of woven Bakelite (phenolic laminate) is perfectly flat. It comes with two 0.5 mm thick paper gaskets. (Thicker gaskets available upon request.)

While the 40 DCOE is a myth, the WEBER 45 DCOE carburetor is a legend. It was originally fitted to a large number of exclusive models from the 1960s to the 1980s and continues its career to this day in preparation for numerous models with engines of all displacements.

These spacers (2 per carburetor) thermally insulate the carburetor bodies from the heat of the manifold, preventing the vaporlock effect during hot starts due to fuel boiling in the carburetor bowl.
